After countless applications and a shortlist of candidates for interview, we’ve not been able to appoint a new member of the flock.

We’re looking for a talented self motivated Graphic Designer, one with a passion for type that borders on the obsessive. You’ll be able to demonstrate a proven agency background, one where you have been responsible for creating innovative solutions to client problems. Being a team player and having the ability to work independently of direction whilst being able to effectively communicate an idea are prerequisite.

Obviously, you’ll be a whiz at all the usual packages and have a sense of detail that’s second to none. In the first instance, apply to our Creative Director (neil@blacksheep.info) outlining why you’re the next member of the flock along with a brief resumé of your career highlights and the 3 examples of work which you consider to be your best.

Salary is commensurate with experience + Health Care package after probationary period.
The ability to communicate through the Welsh Language would be seen as a distinct advantage.

I sent you guys an email back in February with my cv and some examples of my work, but didnt receive any kind of response or acknowledgement?

Out of interest was it not recieved or did I just not get shortlisted…

Hi Matt

Firstly, sorry for not responding. However, I’m sure you will appreciate that we get so many applications for advertised and speculative positions that it’s sometimes hard to respond to everyone. As a guide I try to respond with feedback (even if the standard of their application is awful), good or bad, in order that a candidate is able to improve their future applications to us or other companies.

However, sometimes I only have the time to respond to the short-listed candidates. As I could spend the majority of my time giving candidates feedback rather than getting on with work in hand.
